I'm far from a perfect body... and I know it. That's fine, and I don't expect everybody to find me attractive. I get plenty of emails calling me a "fat bitch"... Oh freekin' well, I'm not your type, move along.

But I have the right to politely, politely mind you, to tell someone "Sorry, you're just not what I'm looking for", and not get bitch slapped verbally because I'm Bi and therefore "available" in their minds.

If you thought I was attractive enough to proposition, awesome. Take being gently told "No" like a grown up. Don't go from "You're so hot I want to watch you fuck my wife" to "You're a fat whorepig" just because you were told no. Pull up your big- pants and deal with it.

Some people just need to grow the fuck up.

Primal: What does it mean?

I consider myself a "Primal". I was asked by a friend once what a "Primal" is... I gave him MY definition:

"In MY definition, a Primal is someone who is aware of, and embraces, the beast within. Some of us identify with a specific species (I'm Wolf)
others simply embrace that wild aspect we all share but most deny"

But I'm curious how others would define it in terms of their relationship to the term.

I'm also curious if anyone here embraces this worldview and would be interested in discussing it?

***NOTE!*** This is NOT bestiality or a desire to have sex with animals or anything unsavoury like that. It's a self identification thing, a way of viewing oneself.

Thank you, guys. All of you. I can’t say this enough. I was raised by a Marine, so I know what your service is worth. I’ve loved and respected you guys all my life for the courage you show by putting on that uniform.
What I never understood, until tonight, is the much greater courage you show when you take OFF that uniform and return to the civilian world that’s become an alien landscape to you. I saw some programs tonight that highlight the difficulties returning vets face. Families who have become strangers. who only know you as a photo Mommy hugs at night and cries. Friends who have moved on and forgotten who you were, and don’t understand who you are now.
Guys, I salute you. Your immense courage has been highlighted for me tonight. The real, very real, risks you take. Not only of dying in combat, but worse, of becoming strangers to your own homeland. You humble me.
You deserve so very much more than the simple thanks we give you each year. However, because we as civilians simply can’t understand you, we call you heroes, and we thank you as best we can.
Families, I should not forget you. The parents and spouses who stay home and mind the fort, never knowing when your loved ones will come home, or how long they can stay until the next deployment. Siblings who may not understand, but who still give your support. who still love Mommy or Daddy, no matter what. Thank you, also, for the sacrifices you make, and may all your loved ones come home.
Thank you will have to serve, to all of you, for a sacrifice we can’t grasp, and a lifetime you have lost in just a few years. Bless you, and may the Divine hold you and keep you sane. May your faith never be broken past redemption, and may your memories never fade in our hearts.

I will always remember those rescue workers who died going UP the stairs, some a 2nd or 3rd time, into the Holocaust that was the World Trade Center on 9/11. They were heroes, not because they were just doing their jobs, but because of the jobs they chose to do.They chose to stand on a line, to become the wall between us and harm. There's a quote from "A Few Good Men": "Because they stand on a wall and say nothing is going to hurt you tonight, not on MY watch"..... except they don't stand on a wall, they ARE the wall. They place themselves, their bodies, their lives, between America and those who would cause her harm.I started this post thinking of the WTC and other rescue workers, but I think it applies to ALL who serve in and out of uniform. There are rescue workers, SAR volunteers in the Rockies who get no pay.... our military, police, and firemen, ambulance workers and medical personnel... they all deserve to be remembered. By all of us, each and every day, not just when the news reminds us of them. And for their courage, their sacrifices, I salute, support, and remember them. Forever.
