I suppose there may be a handful of you wondering where I have been the past few months. Well, I am happy to say that after years of roaming the web I have finally met someone who is very special to me.

We are all different here folks. Where does this naiveté come from? Are we so afraid to talk to our potential lovers and find out what they like and don’t like. The first lover I ever had did not like to kiss very much. I have started hanging out and posting on the Advice Lines section here lately. It is somewhat interesting but mostly I do it out of boredom. One thing that strikes me as I read through some of the questions is where has all of the common sense gone in today’s society?

Are we as a society becoming that socially inept these days? Can a woman be fulfilled from sex without having an orgasm? I read this in the advice line it was said to be common belief that women don’t really care if they orgasm from sex and are just happy having sex in general, this was coming from a man now mind you. I am completely addicted to High-Definition Television. The imagery on HDTV is stunning and I find myself watching programming on HDTV channels that I normally would not watch.
I watched the World Cup Final simply because it was broadcast in HD. I will watch concerts of bands I have never even heard of or had any inclination to listen to in the past because it is in high-def. There are a handful of movies that I probably never would have watched that I actually ended up in enjoying if not for the wonders of HDTV.
I had a co-worker ask me why I needed a 42" high-definition television. She reasoned that a 32" TV was plenty good enough for her. Then she came to my Super Bowl party and was like, "Oh, now I see why you bought this TV." High-Def television was just made for sporting events. The Super Bowl and World Cup were absolutly amazing to watch.
I was loving it when I found out 24 was broadcast in HDTV. It made the show that much better.
My only problem is not everything is broadcast in HDTV which makes watching regular TV like going back to AOL dialup after being on RoadRunner all this time. Given that I have a widescreen TV it also makes watching movies that are formatted for the standard TVs not as fun to watch.
If you have yet to experience HDTV I suggest you do whatever you can to do so. If you are a sports fan or movie buff like I am it is well worth the investment.

I was wondering something earlier today. What if our parents knew we were on a site like this? What if they knew we were out on the Internet trolling for sex partners? Better yet what you do if you stumbled across a profile that happened to be your mother's or father's?
As far as being out there looking for sex in general I doubt they would be surprised or anything like that. When he was in college he actually convinced the administration to give him a foreign language credit for learning computer languages.
My mom, on the other hand, as I said is conservative on such matters. But, truth be told she barely knows how to get around on the Internet outside of using email. After my parents separated she was never really one to get out and start dating again, and even when she did it never lasted very long. To be honest I think I would freak out if I saw her picture on here.

Like most of the free world I have a MySpace account, but to be honest I don't spend a whole lot of time on that site as it seems to load far too slowly for someone who has a broadband connection and I honestly don't get what the obsession is with the site.

So the phone rings around 10:30 last night as I am finishing up my ice cream and contemplating getting ready for bed. It scared me for a minute as nobody has called me that late on a weeknight in a couple of years now, at least not since the lover I had at the time and I started going sepearate ways in our life.
