Ciao sexy pervs!

This month has flown by in a blur of furniture Tetris, unpacking, repacking, sifting, sorting and organizing. Our shipment came in at the beginning of July and our house is just now starting to emerge from beneath the piles of cardboard boxes and plastic wrap. Our adventures and travels have slowed to a virtually non-existent crawl. I hope to have the house in a settled state by August although I suspect it will have to be revamped only a few months later due to a change in circumstances.

Those of you who follow me on FB know that we were attacked by 2 mastiffs that live at the end of our road at the beginning of July. They literally climbed over a 4 and half foot tall metal fence to attack our Great Dane. Neither of us could believe that 150-200 lb. mastiffs could climb a fence like a fence. I’ve owned and been around mastiff’s most of my life so I know how aggressive they can be. Thankfully they aren’t people aggressive just aggressive. The male, Leto never attacked at all. He just followed the female over the fence and stood back barking. I suspect he was only hoping for extra milk bones. It took the Viking and me working as a team to get away without injury. The Viking was pulling and I was kicking to get the attacking female to release our poor boy. It was terrifying but everyone made it out intact. Even Buster only had a couple of scratches and scabs thanks to the mastiff’s teeth being stuck in his nylon harness and collar. The neighbors were very apologetic and have so far been good to their word of not leaving the dogs out unattended. The authorities were completely uninterested but the report was finally made after us making a huge stink and repeatedly showing up until they relented, probably just to pacify us. If I walk alone now I do so with a piece of metal rebar or small baseball bat for a “walking stick”. For a country that is uncommonly friendly they are terrible about socializing their dogs to other animals. We take Buster with us to café’s, restaurants, hikes, day trips and festivals all the time. The people are amazed at how calm and gentle he is. It seems here that big dogs are used for protection and not generally pets taken in public.

We did have 2 play dates since we’ve gotten here. One in June and one just before our furniture came in July. Both were with couples visiting the area. One couple was from the west coast, the other from Mexico. We had a ton of fun with both. It was really nice to have dates with lifestyle couples. I forget what it’s like to be able to talk openly about our lifestyle. It is really strange to me having gone from most of my friends being in the lifestyle to being here with no lifestyle friends. Lots of adjustments here and many of them were not obvious until I got here.

Despite the fact that this house is twice as big as the house I rented back in GA we are really struggling to get all of our furniture in here in a workable way. We have a huge basement but the door and stairway to said huge basement are tiny and tight so we are going to be forced to get rid of more furniture than we would like to. I had hoped to make one side of the basement a spare bedroom/rec room but the entryway restrictions make that highly unlikely. I finally have my desk set up and can actually sit upright in a desk chair to type. I am not a fan of the whole using a laptop on your lap thing. Lil bit’s room has her furniture arranged but still cluttered with extra bookcases and furniture that we have to decide to store in the basement or get rid of.

All of my pink Depression glass, crystal and china made it here intact which was a wonderful surprise. The dining room is pretty much finished. The only thing left to do in there is to get the rug down. Getting our area rugs down is a major task to be done all over the house. The artwork I love also made it although there was some minimal frame damage. Despite what we originally thought, there were some pre-existing hangers so my beloved art pieces have made it onto the walls. Not in the exact positions I’d prefer but I don’t care as long as they are hung.

I’ve gotten into a nice workout routine at the gym. I do Pilates with a friend most Mondays and Fridays and then Power Pump, a weight workout to music on Tuesday and Thursday. I’m very happy to have my new friend Alice. She is such an interesting person and we really enjoy each other’s company. Thankfully the hubbies don’t seem to mind each other either. She’s the only woman I’ve really found a connection with since moving. She isn’t in the lifestyle and I don’t know that I’ll get to share that part of my life with her but we have lots of other things in common while still having enough differences to keep us interested in each other. She volunteers to help with the Benvenuti and culture college tours that newcomers and spouses do to get a crash course in Italian culture and this area. That’s how I met her but was surprised when she wanted to be friends beyond that. She meets so many people that I figured she’d have more friends than she wanted. She could but we share a need for alone time, a warped sense of humor and an unusual view on life so our friendship has a good base.

I start my Italian language classes tomorrow. The original course I signed up for was canceled due to budget cuts so I had to pay and wait for this one to start. I pick up a few words here or there but not enough to really understand or respond. Thankfully, my friend speaks fluent Italian but I still want to learn what I can so I can at least communicate basics with the locals. We stop at the local Tratorria (small restaurant/bar) on many of our evening walks with Buster for a drink or gelato. Almost none of the locals speak English and there isn’t a set menu so we haven’t been able to eat there yet but the Viking likes their beer selection and it’s always good to make ourselves known to the locals.

Our big news (which isn’t being shared with family and general public) is that I’m pregnant again. With the miscarriage last time I am trying to not get too excited in case the same thing happens. I was totally blindsided last time. I had some spotting last week which could be normal or could be a sign that there’s a problem again. Since I’ve only had 1 miscarriage the medical team here doesn’t view me as being at any higher risk so I won’t be seen by an OB or have an ultrasound until I’m beyond 8 weeks. The waiting is killing me. I know realistically there isn’t anything that can be done at this point. Most women don’t even know they are pregnant this early unless they are actively trying to conceive and keeping track. Either the little bundle of cells will develop normally or it won’t but the thought of carrying around another zombie zygote for weeks before I find out one way or the other is beyond disturbing!

For those of you who know me offsite and on FB, please DO NOT mentions the pregnancy there or to anyone else who may know us until we go public with it after our 1st ultrasound. We should have an ultrasound by late August. It was much too painful having to deal with the fallout last time. As it is there are more people who know than we’d like but this is a small American expat community. Certain people have to be told for work, school, medical, etc. There are a couple of close friends who know and a couple of family members on both sides who have had similar issues and will keep quiet until we are ready to share. In the meantime we wait impatiently. Keeping it from Lil Bit will be the hardest point because she will be here late next week. Hopefully I can get my ultrasound appointment made before she gets here and then I can tell her if the results are good.

We’re excited about her finally getting here and taking her on some local adventures to sight see in the few weeks she has before school starts. She and I will be traveling on our own in Sept and Oct since the Viking will start traveling for work then. I’m sure my friend Alice will go with us for some of our day trips which will be nice to have a native speaker. Alice’s mom’s family lives near Piza and her dad’s family lives near Milan, so maybe we can convince her to go with us to those 2 cities to explore while the Viking is off earning our Rock Star lifestyle funds. There is so much to do just here that I know we will stay busy. The little girl who lives next door is super excited to have Lil Bit here so that alone will keep her busy.

Well I think I’ll close this epic catch-up blog for now and see if I can get a decent half naked pic for you poor deprived pervs. Take care and love each other well. Hopefully soon I’ll have more down time to come read all of your blogs.

We are having quite the adventure here in Italia and we see things that boggle the mind on a regular basis.

It took 2 months to get reliable internet at home, 3 months to get TV service and I’m still not getting all my mail.

You can’t get Claritin-D here unless your family mails it from the states. Italians don’t have an equavilent but there are condom dispensers all over the place.

The old, fat, hairy man in the g-string speedo bent over gardening in his front yard while wearing black knee socks and loafers.

The women dressed in Sunday dresses complete with hat, heels and white gloves pedaling a bicycle through some small town.

The cows spend more time in barns than fields. The fields they are in rarely have complete fencing and the alpine cows are loose to roam as they please with their wind chime sounding bells.

There are shoe stores a half an acre long with 1000’s of shoes. 100’s of types of pasta, olive oil, cheese and smoked meat but don’t try to find more than 2 types of anything electric, electronic or pest control related. You buy what is available, order it online or go without.

Gypsies are a protected species here. If they break into your house or rob you and you hurt them then you go to jail but as long as you have a “beware of dog” sign in Italian then your can maul them or anyone with no problem.

Each tiny little town has its own festival of something, Festa del Formaggio, Festa della Rosa, Festa de Tagliate but they all have the same carnival rides, trinket vendors and crappy pastry cart. The only good thing you can count on at least one major fireworks show from each one.

Women wear 5” heels to do everything from grocery shopping to gardening and riding their bikes. They can also walk on any surface from gravel to cobblestones. Only in NY have I seen a more image conscience and driven society.

Beaches here are very different. You have to pay a fee to rent a spot that you are assigned on the beach and the umbrella you are given marks your spot.

Our next door neighbor sunbathes fully clothed.

Cavallo () is on almost every menu I have seen.

Driving here is an exercise in death avoidance; your own and the many fearless bicyclist, pedestrians and scooter drivers.

Most of the roads are barely wide enough for 1 large car nevermind 2 and the shoulders are 6 foot deep irrigation ditches with no guard rails.

When passing on these narrow roads, the law says the bigger vehicle always has the right of way. So when driving a small car be prepared to pull over and stop often or involved in numerous accidents as huge tractors, trucks and other vehicles refuse to share the road.

Scooter and bicyclist always have the right away by law and smaller scooters don’t have to be registered, insured or even require the driver to have a license.

Stop signs and speed limits are loose suggestions that only apply to foreigners. Insurance rates for foreign drivers are astronomical because they are almost always at fault no matter the actual cause.

Blind curves, obstruction of views and lack of signage to warn of the ending of the road are the norm.

Tractors here are 5 times the size of the average ones back home and routinely drive through the narrow down town streets.

The old parts of most large cities are off limits for car unless you live there and have a special permit. No there are not always signs to warn of when this area starts and fines are calculated by how far you drive going in and out.

Speeding tickets are generally given by electronic camera devices and mailed to you but they take about 6 months to reach you.

Cops carry submachine guns and ping pong paddles with one side red, to tell you to stop and the other side green. They wave the red side of the paddle at you to make you stop.

And that's just what I could remember off the top of my head...lol...

Adventures of the Viking and his Nympho: Trials of Italian Living Begin & Castle of Marostica, Italy

Finally after a week of setting up house, paperwork and other mundane tasks the Viking and I got back to our adventures and fucking. We had another long weekend and spent part of it ordering a new king sized bed in which to more properly fuck and be fucked. The loaner bed we have sucks hairy sweaty donkey balls for both sleeping and sex! Although we are happy to be back in the same bed and able to fuck each other again we are about fed up with the bed and waking up with aching backs. The new bed gets delivered Thursday and we can’t wait.

We had our 1st date night out last Friday. We went to the local theatre for a night of Improv comedy and it was hilarious. Afterwards we stopped at our favorite local restaurant Di Napoli and had a grand feast complete with dessert and lemoncello. We got brave on the way home and decided to stop at a local bar that is always busy. The place doubles as a coffee spot and quick lunch stop during the day and is always bustling with beautiful people. We weren’t the only Americans there but we were by far the minority. The people watching was a blast as was the attention we both received. My short curveaous figure is not at all the norm for the local women. This region is over run with tall flat women. They are very pretty but if you like curvy women you would not be a happy man with the locals.

Our 2nd biggest pet peeve about the living arrangement here should be solved within the next 2 weeks as well. Our internet connection or more accurately the lack thereof drives us both insane. We are used to hopping on and multitasking not waiting around for a single page to load for 5 minutes or never. We got lucky in that our location has a direct line of sight to a high speed tower so we should have dedicated high speed soon. Once we do I’ll be here much more. It’s taken me 2 weeks just to catch up on CC’s 13 posts and comment on 2 or 3 without losing everything I write. Our last technology hurdle will be getting TV service but right now our landlord is out of the country on holiday for a few weeks. That isn’t nearly as big a deal for the 2 of us but I’m determined to have it working for Lil Bit by the time she gets here.

The technological aspects of the country confound us at every turn as do the difficulties in obtaining some of the simplest things, like Claritin-D or its generic form. It is virtually impossible to get. I have a Dr.’s appointment Friday to have my prescriptions moved over here and am hopeful that the Dr here will just write an RX for what I normally get over the counter. My favorite Aunt is handling mailing checks for lawn cutting back home and sending me things like that, my purple hair dye, Special K breakfast pastries and Jolly Rancher Bites chewy sour candies all of which I can’t get here. We are still battling with the banks to get all of my debit & credit cards to work consistently and with multiple shipments of our house being moved and put into storage but I’m sure it will all work itself out soon.

The area we are in is absolutely breathtaking. We spend all day last Sunday wine and food sampling at a local winery and this Sunday in a small town about 15 minutes away called Marostica. You really should Google the castle if you aren’t friends with me on the FB place and already seen the pics. Some of you may have seen a blurb on the news about it because in even #’d years there is a famous chess tournament held there in the lower castle courtyard on a life-size chess board with live players. Even the knights are on real horses. We intend to go back next fall to see that! Anyway the town has a monthly open air market and antique sale we took Buster and walked around the outer walls of the lower keep browsing the stands and being stopped every few seconds for someone to fawn over Buster. As you drive into town you can see the castle walls climb directly up the sides of the mountain that the town sits at the foot of and there are obvious castle ruins. The Viking found a map and we discovered the hiking trail up the mountain to the castle. There isn’t much of the upper castle left but what is there has been lovingly restored so that you can walk to battlement walls and enjoy the panoramic views of the countryside for miles around. It was truly magical. Hopefully next time we can eat at the restaurant that has been build inside the old upper castle walls. It was closed for a private event since Sunday was some Italian holiday. The hike back down on the side trail was not nearly as arduous but absolutely as enchanting as we got to watch goats scaling the cliffs up to the castle walls running the length of the mountain.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday were all baby making fuck days so nothing exciting to report there. We were strictly trying to get a job done. We had a blast of course but there is something about my ass being propped on a pillow for 15 minutes after sex that tends to overshadow the whole sex appeal…lol…We shall see in a few weeks if our efforts were fruitful. Frankly, we were just relieved that I was ovulating again after 2 months of not. It has taken us a little time to get back into our sex grove but we seem to have returned to our normal fuckbeast selves.

We have our 1st swinging date in years this Thursday night. Obviously with the baby making we aren’t doing full swap but the couple seems fine with that. It will be fun just to hang out with another open minded couple for a change. No they aren’t Italians although Italian statistics claim that 30% of marriages here are “open”. I suspect that the definition of open is a bit different from ours in that the men are free to do whatever they please but the women are not although I have no evidence to support that suspicion on my part. At any rate this couple seems very laid back and easy going so we are really looking forward to a night out.

I’ll write more on our adventures soon and try to get some pics. Take care my favorite pervs and love each other well!

Caio Pervs!
Things have finally settled enough for me to at least drop in here for a minute to let you all know that I am alive and well. The plane rides here were long and annoying but I got here right on time. Getting my phone and internet access on my phone has been a several day process with lots of frustrations. My bank cards are just now getting to work properly, maybe. (She says with an eye roll and fingers crossed) All of my phone contacts were lost in the process of transferring to an Italian network but since I can't call anyone in the states directly from my phone it isn't a huge loss. Verizon claims that when I reactivate my # in the states I will be able to download all of my stored info. We shall see.

In the meantime it is freezing fucking cold and raining here, not summer weather at all. Luckily I shipped a container of my winter clothes in the earlier baggage that is already here so I can pull some warmer clothes out of that. It feels more like Ireland than Italy this year.

I'm slowly remembering my way around to the important things, the mall, grocery store, post office, etc. I don't drive if I don't have to because the drivers here make NY drivers look like pussy cats but I'm confident I can get where I need to now.

We still don't have reliable internet or any TV here at home yet. The TV is not great loss for me but the internet void drives me insane. Still working out the logistics of both so I'm not sure how often I'll be on here. Mostly the Viking and I are just spending lots of time cuddled in bed sleeping and fucking in between my bouts with my period. We take Buster for his evening strolls through the countryside alternately scaring or delighting the locals.

I've been pigging out on caprese salads and strawberries with fresh marscopone cheese. The food is so damn good here. Trying to get what I can unpacked and organized a little at a time. Can't wait for the bulk of the household furniture to get here so we can really get settled.

Take care and love each other well. I'll check back when I can. Maybe I can convince the Viking to get some new HNW pics this weekend since it's a long one.

The last few weeks have probably been some of the most stressful and busiest of my entire life. The house is empty and all but a few things are on their way to Italy. Tomorrow is the big day. I leave for Italy. My 4 suitcases are packed and I'm praying they aren't overweight allowance. I've got to wrestle them into the backseat of the truck before I get a shower and head to bed. I have to be at the airport at 8:30am, yuck! Plus I have several layovers making my total travel time close to 24 hours.

I'm so excited and ready to start this adventure with my Viking but it's been harder than I expected to say good-bye to my hometown. I was really proud of myself for not crying until I said good-bye to my Aunt Julie & Lil Bit. Crying saying goodbye to the ani's doesn't count I always cry when I leave them.

So a new chapter begins this week. Stay tuned. I should have lots of free time to write once I get home to my Viking. Take care sexy pervs and love each other well.

As usual I am late for HNW but this week I was busy taking the Viking and the ani's to the airport to fly out. I was so worried and stressed not to mention busy that I didn't even think about posting here until today when I heard from my Viking that the babies made the trip like troopers. The Great Dane didn't even poop in his crate, despite over 16 hours locked inside and the parrot didn't chew his tail off. They were both happily munching and resting when I got to finally IM with the Viking this afternoon.

I have decided to write an article/short book about our experience to try to help people who are looking for information on moving large breed dogs or parrots on the CITES endangered list. This was incredibly stressful and much more difficult than it should have been because there just isn't any good info available. Of course you'll get to be my guinea pigs when I start drafting.

Our house seems abnormally empty without any pets. I have never in my life not had any ani's in the house. It is terribly lonely.

I took Lil Bit & my niece to a concert last night after the airport. Yes, I took them on a school night to see Bridge To Grace, Pop Evil & Three Days Grace. Great concert but terrible security at the venue.

Now I'm just dealing with moving the household which isn't nearly as stressful. I have tons of appointments to tie up loose ends and get everything settled before I leave in just over 2 weeks. I can't wait until I'm out of here and making our new home with my Viking.

I have a wonderful visit from Lulu soon before I head out. I doubt you will see or hear much of me around here for a while. Take care sweet pervs. I will try to check in and update you all periodically.

Happy HNW early. I'm sick with a sinus/upper respiratory infection and still busier than a cat in a roomful of rocking chairs. My Viking leaves with the Great Dane and the parrot next week and I am stressing about having everything done and ready to go. Pulling my hair out with the lack of cooperation from the various agencies that we can't get straight answers from. I can't believe my Viking is about to be gone again.

Being sick makes me miss my Merlin terribly. He was the best nurse Dane ever. I joked all the time that he would "snurf" out my "sickies". Anytime I was sick or just hurting from my numerous chronic pain issues he would come and sniff and snurf me all over especially where I hurt. Snurfing is slightly different than the casual sniffing, it's more intense inhale and forceful exhale which his fluew and jowls puffing in and out like a Bloodhound scenting something. He rarely licked for he reason but when I was sick or feeding him he would give me little tiny licks with just the tip of his tongue. Then he would curl up with me and cuddle until I felt better. If I tried to nap without him he would whine and cry until I let him in to nurse me. Judah the Dane before him did the same thing and I'm sure he taught Merlin but for whatever reason Buster didn't get that nurse training. So I'm without my nurse Danes and missing them badly.

Soon I'll be in a house with no animals. I've never been without a pet. That should be an interesting 3 weeks. Life is about to get very interesting. Hope all my favorite pervs are well. Take care and love each well.

Viking Nympho Reunion

The Viking has been home over 2 weeks now and we have been insanely busy since I picked him up at the airport. I hate thinking that we only have another 2 weeks before he leaves again. Then we’re apart for another 3 weeks. We’ve had a blast visiting friends and just running errands together to get ready for the big move.

We were both pleasantly surprised that there haven’t been any major adjustments or issues for us. Like the rest of our time together it’s been easy even when what life is handing us is hard to deal with being together makes it all ok. I’d like to tell you that we’ve had tons of wild monkey sex but the truth is we’ve been so busy and worried about dogs and family that we’ve mostly had married people sex. The fact that I got my period the day after he got home didn’t help much either. Don’t get me wrong it is incredible married people sex but that’s still what it is. Married people sex is the sex you have when you can fit it in between the real world bombarding you, in the morning before your day starts, at night before we pass out from exhaustion, while the are at school, and before the come home from family visits.

The Viking has been hard at work on the house his ex trashed and we hope it will be ready to be rented soon. His 3 days of work estimate was vastly under what it has actually taken and it still isn’t done yet. There’s been lots of family drama for me with my sister. Basically she’s mad at the world for the shitty situation she’s gotten herself into and doesn’t want to have to pull herself out of. She’s never had to actually take care of herself and her and thinks someone is going to have some magic solution to all her problems. The only good part of all that is the ER did drug tests when she was in for her panic attack and she was clean. Of course that isn’t a guarantee that she’s really keeping her nose clean but we’re fairly sure the pill mixing was an isolated incident. She isn’t doing anything to get out of a bad situation and the family is fed up with her pity party.

We had dinner and beer with the Viking’s college buddies one of the nights we were in Atlanta working on the house and a couple of them are coming down to hang out and celebrate his birthday. My mom took Lil Bit and my older niece for the week of spring break. We were lazy for our actual anniversary. We slept in, shopped an estate sale and bought a couple of cute pieces and had dinner at my favorite Italian place in Columbus which meant we got to see Deb. I made the trek all the way down to FL and back to get the girls the next day while my Viking worked on the house.

The Hospice Hounds all rallied in celebration of their daddy dog’s return but soon resumed a steady decline. I agonized, prayed, cried and agonized more over making the final decision to put Merlin down. I had decided to postpone it for a few weeks until the pain meds caused some other major issues and I had to take him off of them. Within a couple of days of taking him off the meds his decline was obvious and heartbreaking. He lost almost all control of his hind end and although he was still happy and playful I could tell he was in so much pain. I prayed for a sign, something to let me know it was ok to let him go. I had a dream that my Mam-maw came to see me to tell me that it was time to let him go and she promised to be there waiting for him with Judah so he wouldn’t be confused. I told her how I just hated to end his life when he still seemed so happy and playful. She held me while I cried and explained that he was always going to be happy for me. He was only living for me and I had to make the decision to let him go because he couldn’t. She told me to tell him how I felt and what I was doing that he would understand. The next night I sat on the couch with him and talked to him while I cried and said good-bye.

I got more of the sign I needed the day before I had the vet scheduled to come to the house. When I came home from my OB/Gyn appointment he couldn’t get off the couch without my help. He was very happy to see me but he couldn’t even wag his tail anymore and just cried for me to come pet him. I spent the entire day loving on him, taking pictures, napping, playing with him outside and just sitting in the grass and sunshine. I continued to talk to him about letting him go and it seemed like he wore himself out and gave into the pain his body was in before my eyes. The Viking and I had to pick him up and move him several times that night. I knew we couldn’t keep on that way and accepted that I’d have to let him go the next day as planned. I had the peace of mind I had been looking for but my heart was broken anyway. Merlin was my comfort and protector for 12 years. That’s a long time and so much to go through. I couldn’t have asked for a better or more loving dog.

The vet was able to come to the house before Lil Bit came home from school and I spread out one of our favorite cuddle blankets on the floor to be with him. He wasn’t scared at all and went peacefully in seconds. I rubbed his velvety ears and face one last time and said my goodbyes. Then the Viking did the same with Honey. We had to load them on the back of the truck ourselves. The vet has known my mom since she was a little girl and he has to be pushing 85 years old. My Viking saved me the heartache of having to deal with taking their bodies for cremation. Turned out the one at vet’s office wasn’t big enough and he had to take them to the county pound. I’m just so thankful and glad that he was home to take care of that for me. I don’t know what I would have done if I’d been alone during that.

It was so sad seeing the other 2 dogs looking for them afterwards. They still are but I think they are starting to understand that they aren’t coming back. I’m worried how the younger Dane is going to adjust to being the only and the move right on top of each other along with me not being there for 3 weeks. I know my Viking will take good care of him but I still worry.

My sister wound up in the ER that night and I made some emergency pet sitter changes to avoid her having to deal with the animals. She was pissed at me but that isn’t anything new and I just let it roll off my back.

We finally got a break and took some time for ourselves last week, the day after we let Merlin & Honey go we headed to Louisville for the Fleetwood Mac concert. I think it’s the only vacation we’ve ever taken that we didn’t have tons of things planned to do. The only things on our trip agenda were the concert, having dinner with my little brother and meeting my 9 month old nephew.

The drive seemed longer than we expected or maybe we are just both getting old. I cried a lot missing Merlin and feeling bad for leaving the other 2 so soon afterwards, my Viking held my hand and assured me it was ok to be sad. I’ve never been to Kentucky and enjoyed seeing a new part of the country. It is very pretty with the rolling hills of green. Our hotel was in the heart of downtown within walking distance of all kinds of places to eat, drink and the concert venue. We both slept like the dead that night and didn’t get out of bed until the next afternoon. We hadn’t gotten that much uninterrupted sleep since he got home. Catching up on our sleep helped us catch up on our libidos and we enjoyed the hotel room sex! The weather turned nasty the day of the concert but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. The concert was amazing! We wandered around downtown afterwards for some munchies and drinks then racked out again. I headed out to a mall for some retail therapy the next day while he hit the gym. I don’t generally like to shop but I was in the mood and the mall had a Godiva store! I found some great deals and came home with 4 outfits and Godiva for less than $200.

We met up with my brother and his girlfriend for dinner and drinks then went back to the bar next door for karaoke. We had a blast but I didn’t want to get up the next day at all. We stopped by to see my brother so I could meet my nephew on our way out. He is an adorable 9 month old chunky monkey. We also made a short detour to see Fort Knox gold depository then I slept most of the drive home.

Reality barged back in with the news that the day the Viking planned to fly back is an Italian holiday and impossible to get the animals through. Nothing about this move has been easy but we are getting it done. My unaccompanied baggage was packed and picked up this morning but the movers let their truck battery die and didn’t get out of here until the afternoon. The Viking spent yet another day working on the house and moving furniture. This week and next are following the super busy trend with vet appointments, jury duty and continued truck problems. Time is flying by now that we are back together and I’m dreading the next stint apart.

I’ve got lots of pics for you pervs from our trip. We got creative with the downtown skyline and the shots turned out great. Not sure how much I’ll be around the next few weeks. I’ve got to plan something for his b-day and get this move on track. I hope you are all enjoying the spring. Take care and love each other well.

We were on the road to KY last Wed and I was grieving for my sweet Merly-moo but we did get some amazing shots on our vacation. Here's one to make up for the lack last week and more to come this week.

Take care and love each other well.
