Oh yes, children should always come first and being friends does not mean you have to go on vacation together, but to the birthday party of the children, to the kindergarten, school function, sport event Some couples even have sex after getting a divorce, not sure this is always beneficial to the female or both. As for me, I am on friendly terms with all my ex boyfriends, see no reason to reject their friendship because they wanted children or get married, which I didn't want goodbuddy781

I agree with RavenGB for the most part, but if you get a divorce and you have children, you should try to have a good relationship for the children's sake no matter what a douche bag your ex might be.. goodbuddy781

Would be nice.....but it depends on the people, their character and the reasons for the split. Some can weather the storm....others just cant....and some for good reason. goodbuddy781

Daft question. It depends on the people involved and the circumstances of the break-up. Just think how many couples divorce and can't stand the person that they once loved whilst overs do remain close.
