Been to Scotland twice. A full week each time. Absolutely loved it. Visited all 5 single malt scotch distilleries the first time, and Oban is still my favorite! I will be back again at least once more!

Am betting I am one of the few that knew the fact about the Braveheart name, as the oldest known ancestor in my family WAS the Robert the Bruce portrayed in the movie. Or possibly his father, that part is unsure in our genaology search, which was carried out over a 50 year time span by my mother & a cousin of mine. The line descends thru a Jamestown Colony settler whom was counted among the Virginia First Families as well, and includes many American notibles. My birthname was given me in honor of this oldest known ancestor. My bucket list includes visiting Scotland, and I hope I manage this before I die.

There is a shop near where I live that specializes in imports from the UK. I think they may have Irn-Bru. I should try a can of it.
