For Once
For Once FOR ONCE I wish I could a post I was doing amazingly well and happy. This weekend I lost another friend who passed away in her sleep. heart is killing slowly because I love so much and emotional exhaustion is its peak. I haven't let myself cry yet because it's gonna be like a dam bursting. I'm the STRONG person. The one holds it together when everyone else is lost. The one helps but never asks for it. Most of those I have lost were so young compared . I should be the one they're missing. I'm the one should have the RIP tributes on wall NOT the other way around. Dawna was only 27 and passed her sleep. The only comfort I can find from is least she felt no pain. She was like no other. So innocent in so many things and a smile literally lit up a whole room when she was it. A heart so big I wanted tear apart anyone who broke it. So if I seem a bit " off" chat this is why. |

I fully understand. This sunday I will be attending a memorial service for a neighbor/friend who passed earlier in December. His family deferred his service until after the holidays so as to not dampen his huge families's Christmas. I have lost so many in my lifetime, it almost seems as if I have become numb to it, and that bothers me alot. In my father's side of the family, all his generation are gone, and in my own, there were twenty of us, and five are gone, And either my sister or myself will make number six or seven. In my mother's family, all of her gen are also gone, and out of eleven in my gen, five are gone. Thats just close family! As to friends, I lost my first friend when I was twenty-one, and it continued from there. I have lost count. I have lost two ex-wives now, and 4 close ex GFs too. I stopped long ago reading Obits because every week brought news of someone I knew passing. If I hear of someone I care about passing, I try to go to their funeral, but I have missed many due to being out of communication with my family as well as many of my friends. But it just never gets easier to lose those I care about, and likely wont for you either. I once knew a wonderful woman who achieved the age of 102, on her 100th b-day, when asked what she liked & disliked about living so long, she stated, "I have to go to to many funerals, I have outlived all my friends and many of my relatives!" When asked the same question a year later on her 101st b-day, she had the same answer, tho said with much less expression, the sadness in her voice obvious to all who heard. A few days before her 102nd, she was in a nursing home now, and a grandchild, my friend who was almost 50 yrs old herself, she replied, "Well I have lived long enough to enjoy joining those who went before me!" She died one day after her 102nd b-day. SHE understood life & death, better than anyone else I have ever known. Am sorry for your loss, it will be hard to move on, but harder not to!

Sorry about your loss like most of you seems like people who are younger are leaving us behind.the good people go before their time That's the reason I no longer wear suits or ties reminds me of funerals or weddings in my view it's almost the same thing . I travel quiet of bit for work, and I observe a lot ,most married people look like they hate each other ,not all but a lot,I see very few who are truly happy either very young they dont know any better or very old who have been sweethearts since high school, any how best of luck Pet.

Sorry to hear about your loss, never an easy thing no matter what, who it is, or connection. If you care for some one as a partner or friend or family it hurts of course. Any one can tell you this or that but its going to take time to heal. Time is a healer. Reach out to your family and friends it will help was the pain but wont take it away, it will just hope in your need.
