It's just one of those annoying little glitches that we all experience on this site occasionally I suppose.

I don't consider myself popular....I just think all women are, so the minute one logs into the IM....the messages start.....lol.

That's great if one is interested in chatting, but if not....then being logged on to the IM without your permission so to speak, is just annoying.

I very rarely go on the site, on my cell phone, and if I do I click on the link to use the full web version. If you use their app version or whatever it is....that's when you get logged in to IM automatically.

This has just started occurring when I'm on my laptop. It's just annoying, but I'll live....lol I just slide the switch to busy if I don't feel like chatting.

Just another A*F*F glitch we deal with sometimes...

Well technically I am logged into the IM, but it is the site doing it to me automatically.

But I have read about all kinds of glitches with the IM....so this is just another one.

Maybe one day they will make actual improvements that work......lol

 Wouldn't it be nice if the CityHookups.com honchos would just read a few of the blogs and realize that their ship is sinking? There are so many things that this site does wrong. Could you imagine if this site was for a company that sold candles? The only thing that keeps them in business is that we all enjoy the sex stuff on here. Otherwise, we wouldn't tolerate it and they would have been out of business long ago!

I really don't use the IM either, many times the opening lines of the men from there are as bad as the ones you get in emails. I learned that by the very, very few times I looked at it.

I just turn the little switch to busy if it magically turns on.

It would be nice, and you would think that they would take a few cues from their members in the blogs commenting on the annoying aspects of this site.

I guess they bank on the concept that sex sells and just run with that. But how much more $$ could they rake in if things actually worked right and more people were willing to shell out the money for gold memberships.

I bet many don't because they see all the complaints and figure.....why bother!

Ahhhhhhh....such is life on A*F*F......lol
