A Wanting And Willing Woman A Poem

I can't get over the words
He used to describe
So wanting and willing.
They stabbed my heart
Because while we had
That wonderful moment
They were not enough.
He found someone else.

I know I should not dwell
I know I should move on.
But the wanting and willing woman
Was left all alone
And has no current outlet.
No current lover.
While he has another.

Should I make better choices
Reserve that wanting
And willingness
For someone who can
Truly appreciate it
And not take it for granted?
God that is my fondest wish
To find someone who thinks
Of our time together
AS so effing special
He would never want
For someone else.

But he does not exist.
They always find that wanting
And willingness as ordinary
Just another roll in the hay
Just another instance of play
That they can find with any
of women.

I am not unique.
I am not special.
I am just another
Wanting and willing woman
Who shared her bed
With someone who found
It while wonderful
Something that he could
Find with someone else.
Something duplicatable .
