Brushed Aside A Poem

Pushed away,
Brushed aside,
Like one person's hair,
And another person's tears.

Were it only hair,
Something the wind directs,
And not the tears
Which can be caused by distress.

I am at the receiving end
I am watching the proceedings
I am discovering some new meanings
Of harshness and rejection.

There are no new investments
After such an action
There are no saving graces
For treating someone so cavalier like.
And there is no forgetting
Either.

But an apology would be welcome,
A sign your senses have returned,
That your better angels have descended
And that something has been learned.

 I was brushed aside once...
The guy at the light, standing behind me, brushed me aside, because he was in a rush and very rude...

He got hit by a Taxi...

He was ok... I guess. I walked by him as he lay there. He seemed to be breathing. His cell phone was ringing. Perhaps I should have answered it?
