I'm supposed to try to lose weight, so I've been taking soup for lunch these days. Love the slow cooker

Most days in Winter I have home made soup for my lunch. My current favourite is a spicy sweet potato soup. I usually make a huge pot and freeze in separate portions so I can have a different lunch each day.  ~~Anais Nin~~

Well I was going to make beef stew today. but maybe I'll change to vegetable beef soup. Thanks for the idea.

Soup happens whenever I cook. right now I have a Chicken and Mushroom on the stove.

These all look great J..nice job hun my favorite would be Loaded Cheddar Bacon Potato soup so good. Its been too warm here I am hoping for some more winter so I can make some.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Those are some good looking soups dishes!! Hmmmm, I don't have a favorite soup but if I was to chose Potato soup done right is very good. Although a good Pea soup is pretty good too. Hmmm that butternut squash soup sounds good too.

The stock is made traditionally from pork & lamb . . . but . . . not being a big fan of lamb . . . I use beef instead. Then the normal 'soup veggies' . . . grated potato to thicken it a little . . . & barley.
