 I my have a so called, 'Other half', that doesn't mean I will get anything from him.
In the 13 yrs we have been together, he hasn't bought me as much as a card, for Valentines day.
So trust me, I gave up, a very long time ago, of him ever being the slightest bit romantic, on that day, or any other, for that fact!
Life isn't about how many breaths you take, but about the moments that take your breath away!

 I don't have anybody to share Valentine's Day with, so it really doesn't matter for me

But, I can tell you, that I don't have to have a big display or big gift on that day. I do like getting flowers. I always have. It makes me feel loved. So, if I had a guy, I'd love it if he just brought me some flowers at work. It doesn't have to be expensive. It's just the idea that he put forth the effort to do something he knows I enjoy. For him, I'd either cook him his favorite meal or take him out, his choice, but later on I'd really give him a treat to enjoy
