funny but not funny..
ok.. i got a lil story for u.. plz laugh or dont laugh as much as u wish.. the joke is on me i guess..

My has this aquarium full of Florida Hairless Rats.. one tank had 4 half grown babies and the daddy and the other tank had mommy and 10 partly grown babies..well a couple days ago my had forgotten about his pets.. and i noticed when i looked in on them from a great distance that the water bottle was empty... on closer inspection i realized that there was no food.. and the mommy was jumpin up and down trying to knock the lid of so she could excape..
Well anyways.. i have this great fear of rats or rodents of any type.. but i was the only one awake enuff to take care of the issues at hand.. grrr i thought as i looked into the aquarium.. and i tried for like 5 min to get the bottle outta the cage so i could fill it.. id lift the lid.. momma would jump toward the opening.. id close the lid.. well this happened like i said for 5 min or so.. finally i opened the lid.. grabbed the bottle.. and quickly closed the lid again.. filled the water bottle and then proceeded to try to put it back.. while trying to put it back it dropped to the bottom of the cage.. and there was no way i was puttin my hands in there with them creatures.. least not without gloves.. anyways.. i put on my winter gloves and then proceeded to try my damnedest to get the bottle from the bottom of this cage..id stick my hand in a lil ways and 3 or 4 of the rats would move in that general direction and id quickly pull my hand back..
*sweat pouring from my forehead.. and my breathing was elevated.. my heart was racing.. i just couldnt do it.. i was in pretty much a full blown panic attack.. so i lifted up the cage with the lid FIRMLY in place.. and carried it to my sis.. I woke her up and asked her to please get the bottle that i couldnt do it.. ... she rolled over grimmaced at me.. and then stuck her hand into the cage and got the bottle put it on the side where it belonged.. and petted the biggest rat and then replaced the lid..
I was so releived that she got the darned bottle outta the bottom of that cage.. Thanks sis..
Had it not been for my belief that all creatures great and small have a right to live, i would of let them darned rats be thirsty and hungry.. but i got this thing called a heart.. no matter if i hate the creature.. i had to make sure it had the bare essentials for life.

Moral of this story... im a scaredy cat that cant touch a rat

now im laughing at myself.. im such a puss

 Hmnn,,,Well i feel the same way...(remembering my last hubby) heheheheheehe Oh well every puss has her day!! and No cowboy your more of a different sorta rodent...Dawne you made me laugh but i still hate Christmas!
