Yes I have! My ex hubby actually had a big scar on the upper left arm and shoulder from playing around one when he and siblings were little kids....People who had one felt lucky about it. What is considered the little things in life now, were a blessing back then.....WITHOUT PASSION LIFE IS NOTHING

I used one. Neighbors of my dad's friend, in the backwoods of WV, used one and pulled their water from their well. A different person from who showed me how to use a washboard. Damn, my kids are spoiled; they will probably never actually touch any of those things you have been posting lately. Well, I am spoiled too; I do not miss the old knuckle scraper and finger smasher.
