I've been hard at it all day long. I slept in till almost 8:30 a.m. I fixed some breakfast and then headed to my pharmacy to pick up my monthly prescriptions AND to get my Flu shot which I scheduled online yesterday. Got that taken care of, came back home, took a shower, got dressed and headed out just as the Oklahoma vs. TCU game got underway.

I headed to one of the other Wally Worlds to see if they had the Christmas themed T-shirts that I spotted at my Wally World location. Sure enough, I was able to secure all three Christmas themed shirts that I was wanting for two events I have coming up this next week and next weekend. While I was out and about I listened to the OU game on the car radio...I ventured forth a bit and found one of the competitor running stores hoping to find an Amphipod Handpod carrier for my iPhone when I'm out on my walks. I didn't have the exact name and address of the store, so I realized the store I did find was not the running store I was really looking for...I would check it out when I got home.

I then returned to my Wally World to pick up some head gear that I knew they had that the other location did not have...as well as make sure there were not any other colors of battery-powered little Christmas lights to put on two of the T-shirts I got for this next week. I'm really excited because I will decorate all three T-shirts with the battery-power lights as well as one of the hats I got to complete the Christmas outfits. The T-shirts are for an evening walk/run that is this coming Thursday night...it's called "Holiday Lights" and it will be in downtown Tulsa and one of the historic housing additions that decorates with lots of Christmas lights...there's a contest for light-up Christmas<b> costumes </font></b>as well as we'll be able to sign up for the Jingle Bell Arthrits Run which is next Saturday morning. Costumes are encouraged for that run as well. I think I'm all set just have to decide which shirt I'm going to wear next Saturday as I have a Grinch that Stole Christmas Shirt with matching hat and a Santa Suit T-shirt...I don't know, I'll get them all decked out with the lights and see which one I like the best for each event. I'm pretty excited about it all...I haven't done all that much Christmas crafting in the last couple of years...seems that this year is one of what I refer to as my "Martha Stewart" Christmases.

I noticed that the wind today blew down some of my little twinkle lights out of my big tree...bummer, so I got that damned big ladder back out and climbed up there to take down the lights that were falling out of the tree...then I discovered that one of the clear set of lights had been chewed off by a damned squirrel right at the plug, so I took those down...my outside Christmas light display is kind of sucking right now.

I picked up some groceries and had a bite of dinner...now I'm going to see how I am going to attach my battery-powered little lights to my shirts before calling it a night.

Oh, my Oklahoma Sooners beat the TCU Horned Frogs...Oklahoma State lost to Baylor...Tulsa University beat Central Florida in OT for the Conference USA champ title. Texas is playing Kansas State at Lawrence Kansas tonight. I'm hoping that Texas beats Kansas State (I know, it's a long shot but hey, a girl can hope can't she????) as this would have my Oklahoma Sooners cinching the Big 12 Championship!!! I hope Kansas State doesn't take off now that the game is into the second half...if Texas can just hang on and keep it close...they have the talent, just haven't put it all together to make it all run like a fine-tuned football machine of past Texas teams.

Whew, laying out my day here makes me realize why I'm so tired!!!! LOL

 I got my flu shot a month ago and got sick.

 Dec 2: All my decorating is done. Most of my gifts are bought. This has to be some kind of record for me.
