 both have there virtues. Years ago when I was engaged, my fiance liked it when a came home bent her over the couch and took her hard and fast. Then we'd go out , have dinner, and then at bedtime the loving would be slow and lasting (ahh to be young again).
Personally I like spending time bringing a woman to orgasm multiple times before I do. But it depends on the woman and the circumstance.
Of course long slow sexual session border on "making love" not just having sex. Which is why those times are ultimately more fulfilling, ....You an have just sex with your lover, you can't have love with a person who is just there for the sex

 I agree with the general consensus around here.. Both have their time and place. A quickie can be QUITE erotic and even fulfilling if it's done in at the right time/place and everybody involved is into it. Of course, NO ONE wants to be left 'hanging' if you will. I personally enjoy the loooooong slow type of sex more so than anything else -tm

 There are times for both approaches. Generally, I like to take my time and really enjoy my partner. While there is not hard and fast rule, something like 2 to 4 hours, including several sessions of sex with lots of cuddling and talking in between.

A quickie is fine from time to time too, but that is usually with a well established partner where we know exactly how to satisfy each others lust in a minimum of time.

Well i am on here hoping to meet someone who shares my interest in SEX. So quickies for me would depend on the mood of myself and my companion. A quickie would be fine if mutual but although i might want to, i would not have or expect to have a quickie with some one who was new to me.
