I've mostly met new ladies at local bar/restaurants, as the provide a nice place to chat and we don't need to worry if the discussions become a bit naughty. Three favorite "meeting" memories, that don't follow the scenario above: 1. The VERY FIRST lady I ever met via A*F*F - It was a classic story of starts and stops / conflicting schedules. Living in a shore resort area. I have it very easy to meet people. I just use the boardwalk to meet face to face. I've been on CityHookups.com on and off for about 6 years. For myself, it's a restaurant or bar if it's her preference. Am not into jumping into anything real quick and gives both time to find out more about each other. I've had those that were "meet greet and lets go"!, sorry, is just not my thing, it takes me a little while to warm up and want to know more about someone before all that happens. I don't need to know a person's whole life story either, but it helps me define if that person is a good probable match or not, just to chat awhile and be as open as possible. I guess in this day and age that makes me somewhat old fashioned, but hey, that's who I am.. As for meeting here on this site, yes, have had 4 meets from over the past 2 yrs, all of which began pretty well, but ended in disaster because of the untold stories and misleading information found after the first several dates and it wasn't on my part, thankfully to say.

my first meetings are always in public to make sure there is comfort level.you can write or talk to someone till your blue in the face but you never really know until you actually meet.my meetings are always under the pretense of not jumping into to bed after two minutes lol.
