A Valentines Beating Another Valentines Day has come and gone without someone to love. But it seems as though this year I received something better. Do you see that little photo of me to the left in dominatrix gear? Yes, that one. Well that photo is as fresh as it gets taken hours ago early this afternoon. And in addition to that, apparently it takes the place of chocolate and flowers. Did you know of this new trend? So my date last night took me to dinner and a movie which was great. I had chinese food which I love and then we went to see the movie 'Taken.' Upon arriving home I knew it was to be a sexless Valentines night as we had decided to keep friendship as friendship, but I did have a pretty red wrapped box to open. And what did I find? You got it! An outfit appropriate for a beating. I was not shy, I tried it on and of course I made all the jokes associated with it. "I'm going to beat your ass!" "Bend over so mama can teach you a lesson." You could say I went on and on and was obnoxious about it...I think it was nerves. Needless to say today he took my picture in it and I think it turned out cool! I don't know where to wear it but maybe it means I may have to attend a Black and Blue ball that they have here a few times a year. A belated Valentines day to all my friends as I didn't get a chance to spend any time online yesterday. A funny thing this afternoon. I got an email from CityHookups.com that someone I have never had any correspondance with has gifted me a gold one month membership. I am not sure whether I am going to use it because I feel it obligates me into some sort of a relationship with someone I don't even know is a fit for me. What do you think? Am I making too much out of it? Has anyone else recieved a gift like this? Ok, going to read some of my favorite bloggies and then I am going to take off my outfit....its getting cold!............ciao!  |

Sounds like a nice Valentines Day to me! Wonderful new photo! I had a gift gold membership from someone I knew, but never from someone I didn't. I would be leery of it too.

A gift like that doesn't obligate you in any way other than perhaps sending a polite 'Thank You' note to the giver. If he expects some kind of relationship to develop, that's HIS problem. Now... if you find the fellows' profile interesting, it might be his way of breaking the ice and striking up a conversation. (Kinda like buying a lady a drink in a bar...  ) But it shouldn't be *expected*...Happy Belated Valentines' Day... sounds like you had a good one.

Bon Matin Bella...your scenerio...accept or not....i see this in a few ways...1. deep inside you have to feel comfortable with it? because you do not who sent the gift it makes it that much harder. is the person shy...is it a gift based upon your blogs....a gift to some how start a repoire...will you offend the person if not accepted...did you touch this person in some manner through what you have written... is this any different than a blind date in public ...going for a meal at a restaurant? here is my suggestion if you can do it...if you know the person's CityHookups.com address contact (i'm assuming a him) him and suggest that you would like to know more about him before accepting....maybe CityHookups.com can help in this regard if address unknown to you... or...blog that you will accept on the condition that some sort of contact is made within a reasonable time frame... accept as a potential friend (caveat) for now...gifts do not buy love...state...that it is a very nice gesture on his part... or that at this point in time it makes you a little uncomfortable to accept without at least knowing the person... gifts by their pure nature are things given with no unreasonable expectations attached...this however is not always the real world... here is what i would do if your gut instinct is right now one of apprehension...........Set up a blog addressing this issue...your feelings...if some match what i have said feel free to use any of it and set your conditions for acceptance then invite him as a potential friend...noting your concerns related to not knowing the person...so if more is intended by this gift by the other person...state that comes out of something that money cannot buy ...a repoire must be established...and even then the potential relationship level is still based upon chemistry over time... i don't know if that helps any ...early in the morning... i am an animal lover...what kind of puppies do you have...age, names,gender,colourings? have a great day....meow to you my dear....RON....aka....THE CAT.... this communique has been sent from THE OFFICE OF THE CAT>>>>ciao...

Oh dam I forgot to answer the question. If a person gifted you something I'd just take it but would not feel any obligation to be in communication with them because some have these preconcieved notions about how a person is becasue of their expression here without really knowing so if they wanna spend loot thinking that it will get them somewhere then burst their bubble and just say thank you,cyalaterbye roaming the cyber streets of blogland

If it is only a platonic friendship then it is completely inappropriate....I would choke if I received that from just a friend...a sexy outfit like that should come from someone You are fully intimate with and have discussed certain likes and dislikes....
