 I used to coupon big time when the kids were little. It was like a hunt or a game to see how much I could save. You need to check out coupons on-line. If there is a brand you like, go to the web site. They almost always offer a coupon. If not, call the 800 number on the package and ask for some. One more tip; buy seasonal. Ketchup and other bar-b-que condiments are on sale now...stock up.
LOL It never really goes away, I just don't do it as much as I used to.

B, that's exactly what I'm doing. My folks use a specific bread because of it's low carbs per slice, dad can only have 4 carb points, and 15g of carbs equals 1 point.....well we found some bread that he can have 2 pieces of at a time for 1 point....so he can have sandwiches but there's never any coupons for it in this area so I've emailed them and told them how much we like their product and how in our area it never seems to be onsale and wondered if they had any coupons for their product.

lol I used to always buy generics, and still will on some things....but nothing beats free or almost free. I got 9 bottles of BBQ sauce free, I got 30 bottles of laundry soap for 2 bucks each, I got 6 body washes completely free, and only had to pay 10 cents each for 6 deodorants. I also bought several pkgs of razors for less than a buck. So it's all in how you play the couponing game. I can almost guarantee you if you start using coupons in the best way possible you can and will save money.

Like now with all my laundry soap, and condiments, I now don't have to buy any of those things for about a year or so, but in a year when I start getting low I can buy more with coupons and stock up again.

The key to couponing is to match the coupons with the sale ads for the best local stores......like say Dillons has something on sale for 10 for $10, and you have a 50 cent off coupon....that may not seem like a big savings...but Dillons doubles coupons every day(0 to 50 cent doubles 51 cents to 99 cents rounds up to 1.oo) so that 50 cent coupon just became 1.00 off.....so every coupon you got for that item on sale means you get 1 of those items free. So find you local stores that double coupons and start matching the coupons in the paper to that store's sale ad. Another helpful key is that when a coupon comes out in the paper that item will be on sale in the next couple weeks.

lol, listen to me I sound like a coupon guru or something....lol. Hope I'm not sounding pushy, I'm just new to the couponing myself and hope that I can inspire more people to get the couponing bug.

Maybe try coupons for sexy toys, batteries, and condoms!

No, never been a coupon clipper – I hate to shop generally, well unless it is for lingerie, sex toys or such.
