You are doing it wrong


Most of you know I'm not originally from the United States, and that I'm always learning new things about this country.
There are many things that I like here: red velvet cake, free water on restaurants, so many safe parks...
And there are things that puzzle me.

I went grocery shopping today and when back home, while storing all my stuff, I couldn't stop thinking: apart from the extremely limited variety they offer (I guess one can find only, like, two types of it), why the hell they package bananas in a plastic bag???

This is not a rhetorical question, if you know why, please, let me know!

 I think it depends on the manufacturer. Where I am the big producers, Chiquita, Dole, etc; sell theirs in plastic bags. The smaller ones seem not to.
